Regina girl charged after toddler poisoned with ethanol – Regina

A Regina girl is going through fees of aggravated assault on a toddler after a joint investigation led by the Regina Youngsters’s Justice Centre.

The centre is a specialised and built-in unit that mixes police investigators, little one safety staff, little one abuse physicians and prosecutors for investigations of bodily and sexual abuse of kids.

On Might 11 round 7:40 p.m. Regina cops responded to a name to assist EMS with a toddler who wasn’t respiration.

Police arrived on the scene on the 100 block of Broad Avenue shortly earlier than EMS. Officers administered emergency medical care to the younger woman till EMS took over.

Police took statements from two adults who had been on the home through the incident in addition to the kid’s dad and mom, who arrived after EMS and police.

Investigators discovered on the hospital that the younger woman had acute ethanol poisoning.

After additional investigation, Jessica Rae Fehr, 29, was arrested on June 9. Fehr isn’t the mom of the younger woman.

Along with an aggravated assault cost, Fehr is charged with administering a noxious factor (alcohol and Benadryl).

Fehr made her first courtroom look on Wednesday.
