Hamilton police say carpet was suspicious package deal present in Westdale – Hamilton

A suspicious package deal reported to Hamilton police on Thursday night time turned out to be a rolled-up carpet left in a bag at a Westdale financial institution.

Officers had been known as out to the scene close to King Road West and Marion Avenue South round 9:30 p.m. after stories of an deserted bag.

The incident closed King for a number of hours and for a brief time period.
